Re: Bunny Trails

I disagree. I choose to avoid a battle with anyone, even those who may perseverate in trying to engage in a battle. Instead, I choose to avoid distractions and pursue charitable discourse. My purpose is simply to keep focused upon the topic of the thread. I find authentic Anabaptist thought fruitfu...

Re: Should a Christian Man be Required to Wear a Beard?

Since I am not a Jew, to my knowledge, or a proselyte, I feel no need to be bound by Judaic law or custom.

Re: Bunny Trails

Have you ever read the book, When I Lay My Isaac Down ? I just ordered it. The author was my 8th grade English and History teacher, years before the events in the book happened. I heard a radio interview with her soon after the first edition was published, but sort of forgot about it. Thanks for re...

Re: Is it ever OK to lie?

Jesus said let your yes be yes and no be no. Early Anabaptist were so convicted of always speaking the truth that the Anabaptist catchers learned they could just ask them. If I was sheltering an abuse victim, which I have done before, I would not lie, but would not answer the question. I would respo...

Re: download speeds

Should I be looking for buffered or unbuffered RAM? Low or high density? Most offerings I am finding are 3 8GB sticks for a total of 24 GB, which would suit me fine if they are seen. I am guessing that a couple of my present chips have died. Even with the 2 4GB sticks the computer only is seeing 4 ...

Will my Win7 programs work in Win10? I do LOTS of video editing and would like to keep my present Sony Vegas program, as well as speed up my rendering time. (I have a video rendering as I type this...) Go to the program website and see what it says. They would have the info on if that version will ...

Re: Moving Cross Country (roughly 900 or so miles)

You can fit a lot of stuff in Uhaul 6 X 9 trailer. It has dual axles and handles a big load. Everything you listed would most likely fit in a 5 x 8 trailer too. I have used both behind my Pontiac Montana van with no issues. One way trailer should be less than $150 to rent. I found that if I rent on ...

Re: download speeds

Is it backward applicable for a pc like mine and do they hook up differently than an HDD? For the work involved and the cost, for what you do, I think you would not see a big benefit. Adding RAM is cheap and easy. That was my original thought, but cheap didn't do the job, so this time I will buy a ...
