DST is supposed to help save energy due to less electricity use (some studies dispute this). It would be interesting to know if this savings would evaporate if DST was in effect all year - if people would simply adjust their lifestyles to a later hour. I don't think lester is to blame, I'm pretty sure I was the last one to post on MD. I posted to that 1 Corinthians 7:14 thread, (may it rest in peace) and I don't think anyone else was online at the time.
