Re: ChatGPT outline of Sermon on the Mount
I'm increasingly perplexed with the sudden push to incorporate AI into this forum. I thought it was strange when people were experimenting with random secular topics. Spitting out pages and pages of Bible commentary just seems counter productive. I haven't read this whole thread and likely won't. I ...

Re: Can we make MN less hostile?
I'm not in fellowship with people who claim to be Christians but support distressed children being put on puberty blockers. I wouldn't eat at the same table as that person This position fascinates me. Am I to deduct from this that before sitting down with someone in a setting where you don't know e...

Re: Can we make MN less hostile?
Maybe less finger pointing when answering a post. if you mention someone's name do you have to be negative when speaking about that person? You can give your answer, your thoughts, answer their questions or respond and yet not be pointing fingers, even put labels on a person. Whether you believe so...

Re: Tech obsessions and cat identities
Our local high school has now mandated litter boxes to make the "furries" feel more included. I strongly agree this is much more than playing dress up, no matter who and how many people want to act like this is normal. I believe the next big push in society's moral breakdown will be peopl...

Re: Pure Life Ministries in KY?
He went there just oozing bitterness towards the church, he did not respond well to the traditional disciplinary action of the old order system. Is your brother old order, or is PLM old order? What about the old order system didn't work for him at first? My brother was old order at the time. PLM is...

Re: Pure Life Ministries in KY?
I'm not sure I've ever heard of "culturally unacceptable" sexual behaviours that are not out and out sin. If it is absolute sin, I don't know that it matters much what else it is called as long as there are people willing to come alongside to help a person be free. I'd say there is a bigge...

Re: Pure Life Ministries in KY?
My brother was there in 2008/2009 for the 9 month program. I think it helped him a lot, unfortunately his wife wasn't interested in doing the wive's program at the time and I feel like that was quite detrimental to the overall success. My brother now is not in a much better place than when he went t...

Re: Poll: Freedom Convoy in Canada
I don't think a nonresistant Christian can in any way, shape or form be involved or actively supporting the protests and maintain their nonresistant status. My wife and I were both recently summoned for jury duty. Both of us were quickly assured we do not need to show up after sending personalized e...

Re: To beard or not to beard
For something that was mentioned once in a handful of verses, a lot seems to ride on that. I'm trying to understand what this means. Does this imply that everything in scripture that is only mentioned once isn't really important, because if we were supposed to take it seriously it would be repeated...
