Re: Quakers and Anabaptists
Thanks Bill, I'd like to attend one of their services, particularly if there was gaelic singing, you do not get a lot of unaccompanied singing in British churches, and it's something that always moves me. One of my Baptist friends, who I consider to be quite a Conservative Christian ( but this is UK...

Re: Quakers and Anabaptists
I do write about other peoples' lives and witness and have so far published essays on Cyrus Cooper (of Columbiana OH fame) and Ann Branson (of Flushing OH, where Jamboree USA has an amphitheater!). I have also written about Progressive Brethren Henry Holsinger, published in *Brethren Life and Thoug...

Re: Prayers for Lucy - Covered One
I'm glad you dug up this post Annakat, I remember Lucy very well as she was the only other person from the British Isles on this forum. I was wondering how she was faring, glad to hear she is in touch with Josh and very glad she's kept her faith.

Re: Quakers and Anabaptists
Actually, I seem to have one leg in the Quaker world and the other in the Mennonite/Brethren world. I would not for even one minute claim that the Quaker take on Christian faith and witness is flawless. In fact, my impression is that it has gone downhill. Yet, as one "cradle" Conservative...

Thanks Josh, I may message you in a couple of months time, at the moment the Coronavirus means I'm not travelling outside of local areas.

Re: Conservative Anabaptist Church Finder & Information
Thank you Josh. Sadly Shropshire is well over 200 miles away from me, London about 120 miles away. If you know England I live in Norfolk, we don't have very good transport links to the rest of the country but I can sometimes get to visit London, does the the mission have an address?

Re: Conservative Anabaptist Church Finder & Information
I was a member here a while back , and asked about UK Anabaptist churches, when I found out there were none I stopped coming here as it seemed as a British Quaker I wouldn't have much to contribute - I did though make a lovely friend here so I am grateful for that. Today for some reason this site ca...

Re: Where do you fit?
#6. I'm one of those people living in a country with hardly any Anabaptist churches, so there is no where for me to visit or join locally. So it probably makes me a #5, as well  I think the survey is a good idea, but unless people write in this thread and tell me where they fit, as a non Me...
