Re: Trump Convicted
I would be delighted to see Trump prosecuted for adultery (which is technically still on the books in NYS, albeit Supreme Court precedent is that states can’t enforce it anymore). Of course, I would want to see it fairly prosecuted, not used as a political target. If states can't enforce adultery l...

Re: Trump Convicted
Trump has a legal problem that he's going to try to fix with political means. Correction: Biden has a political problem he’s trying to fix by claiming his opponent has a criminal problem. Is there any evidence Biden had anything to do with this trial? No, I don't think the fact that the defendant m...

Looks simple and I have all the ingredients but the heavy cream. Let us know how it turns out. Do you think one could substitute yogurt for the cream?

Re: Progressive/Conservative threshold?
I don't know. There seem to be so many definitions that I'm not sure it's a useful distinction. I'm considered conservative when it comes to my Bible-based values on sexual behavior. I don't see the Bible giving rules on beard length or clothing styles other than not being flashy or expensive so don...

You are in the top 20, number 19 at the moment. I get left out, I'm at number 21. I'm sometimes part of the conversation, too!Grace wrote: ↑Fri May 17, 2024 8:11 amAgreed. Re: Is it wrong to use nuclear bombs against civilians?
How do citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven go about getting the kingdoms of the world to stop developing and using nuclear and other bombs against other kingdoms of the world? We can't, but we can speak out about the evil. We can also decline to pay taxes for it. Jesus said “Render therefore unto Cae...

Re: Bunny Trails: Politics
I don’t know what evidence you read. Could have been. However, in war, “about too” doesn’t seem to cut the mustard. At any rate, it took two atom bombs for them to move from about too, to doing it. Why didn’t they after the first bomb, if they were about too? Here is the sort of evidence that I've ...

Re: Justice
A number of times Scripture talks about justice for the oppressed. For example,
Justice, it seems involves ending oppression, food for the hungry, and setting prisoners free.Ps 146:7 who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free;
