There is evidence that Japan was about to surrender. Negotiating that surrender would have been the most moral choice.

A number of times Scripture talks about justice for the oppressed. For example,

Ps 146:7 ​who executes justice for the oppressed, who gives food to the hungry. The LORD sets the prisoners free;

Justice, it seems involves ending oppression, food for the hungry, and setting prisoners free.

I would love to see a test of these sorts of being fit impartially and publicly administered to both major party candidates. I suspect Biden would do better than his opponent, but I don't know.

As Trump was engaged in insurrection, it behooves Congress to act. I think they should have made that finding after the January 6 impeachment, when a majority of both Houses essentially agreed with that finding.
