Read the book and then talk. It’s well written. A lot attention was given to being accurate. And yes, the book talks about a lot of aspects surrounding the story.

The churches I’m familiar with give parents the option. I know of some churches who do not allow homeschooling.

Just found out lately that they’ve been able to get aid to refugees from Myanmar. That country has had an ongoing civil war for 70 years. Our news media rarely reports about the atrocities that are ongoing in that country.
