Re: Rampaging Horses in London
Supposedly the white one was in a head on with a bus. Sources say the bus survived too.

Re: Russia Invades Ukraine 2022
Growing up I was taught it was over state rights and representation. Oh yes, it was about "states rights" too. They were clear on that. Including which RIGHTS they wanted states to have. And also representation (the famous 3/5ths clause). From the same South Carolina article of secession:...

Yeah, I couldn’t work as a nurse or any academics. This would effectively leave me with untrained manual labor. That won’t pay the bills unless I’m being given a generosity job.Judas Maccabeus wrote: ↑Wed Apr 24, 2024 4:52 pm

Re: Russia Invades Ukraine 2022
Actually not really. Every southern state wrote articles of secession explaining why they seceded and went to war against the Union. These are historical records. You can go look them up. For example, here is South Carolina which started the war: https://avalon.law.yale.edu/19th_century/csa_scarsec...

Re: Russia Invades Ukraine 2022
My claim is that John Hurt is utterly wrong when he posted that 50% of Confederate prisoners died at Johnson Island as an example of true facts being distorted. Actually you made several claims that were shown to be wrong by your own arguments. And I did, in fact, research HIS claim before refuting...

Re: Churches, Dealerships, and Franchises
Only in transitional churches. In stable churches, such bishops and ministers are renowned. That’s quite a package, what is a stable church then? I haven’t seen it. Not eastern, not western fellowship and several independent churches. Every single church we’ve seen with perhaps the exception of the...

Re: Russia Invades Ukraine 2022
I am simply disputing John Hurt's claim that 50% of the prisoners at Johnson Island died while in captivity. There is nothing remotely like that anywhere in the historical record. Not even close. He says he has documentation to that effect but hasn't given it to us. And I am simply asking that you ...

Re: Russia Invades Ukraine 2022
So in a war with mass casualties happening an era before DNA and other medical means of identifying remains, there were a lot of corpses that were buried without identification. But it was also an era in which bureaucracies kept meticulous records and most of those records do still exist. So roster...
