The church paid 50% of the Midwife bill, then when we ended up in the hospital they paid 100% of that.

For the sake of curiosity, if a CA happens to be in a job in which health insurance is one of the provided benefits. Do they refuse to sign up and accept it? Even if it is paid for? I don’t. I suspect it varies among the conservatives but most are working for CM or self employed. I know some would ...

You have to be highly selective of the person you choose to spend the rest of your life with. I would suggest that most failed marriages fail because one or both partners were not selective enough.
