Re: Life In New Hampshire

Thanks to both of you. I'm glad i'm enjoying it and doing well here too. Today was a bad day, money issues and trying to get my parents to carry me just a bit longer till the walmart pay kicks in. I will admit i'm asking for a lot with the number which i won't say but it's enough to take 10-12 month...

Life In New Hampshire

So. I have officially been here for good since end of April. Except for the fiasco of going back to Ohio to get my stuff. Thankfully that is in the past. Things are going well here in New Hampshire. Still technically not allowed to drive per my doctor and friends orders however i may have to i...

Re: Moving Cross Country (roughly 900 or so miles)

Well the move is done. That's the short story. Long version from about the last post on to now life has been absolutely nuts. We got the truck, had some issues with inspection, fixed those. July 2nd i ended up in the emergency room for potential heart issues, still sorting that out. A week later i w...

Re: Moving Cross Country (roughly 900 or so miles)

Kind of reminds me of my trip to Wisconsin in 2010. My then girlfriends dad had the i think it was a dodge 2500 crew cab company truck pulling a trailer. Well he was doing 80+ mph how on earth that trailer didn't have issues i don't know, it was quite small. Though he ddid blow a tire near Indianapo...

Re: Moving Cross Country (roughly 900 or so miles)

Well good news. We have an F150 Super Crew cab with a 4.6L V8 and 4 wheel drive with only 130,000 or so miles on it. We are waiting on a few minor things for the dealer to fix so it will pass inspection but we got it. All i can say is for this to happen it had to be God, a tiny bit of luck, and a fr...

Re: Introductions

Wayne- Thank you for the information. My friend and i took a ride beginning of the week and paid the store a visit. I was happy as could be to find noodles, colby jack cheese, and lebanon bologna. My friend who loves baking and cooking was happy to see all sorts of ingredients she can use. So it was...

Re: Moving Cross Country (roughly 900 or so miles)

T1- The short version is no i didn't finish school and no i haven't technically been "working" as in having a job with a paycheck. Long version 2015 i had my mental health issues to the point i wasn't even wanting to leave my apartment i had that much anxiety. So by mid 2015 i had quit col...

Re: Moving Cross Country (roughly 900 or so miles)

What brings you to New England/NH? Do you have a church in mind there? I agree, 81 through Scranton and Wilkes Barre is not fun. 287 around NY is good, and you can save a few miles by going from 80 to Garden State (toll) to 287. 95 in Conn is bad news in the summer 24-7. You could do 84 through Har...

Re: Introductions

That's a nice part of New Hampshire. FYI, You are in between an Eastern Pennsylvania Mennonite church in Brownfield and a BRF Church of the Brethren in Sanford Maine. Thanks for the info. I believe i have met some folks from the Eastern Pennsylvanie Mennonite church, pretty sure they come this way ...

Re: Introductions

If you want a shorter move, feel free to drop by Hartville, Ohio and stay a while or stay for life. It's tempting. Had to look where it is and that is a nice area. Better compared to my part of Ohio flat and boring. Sadly right now New Hampshire is the better option, my friend needs a roommate and ...
