Re: Miscellaneous mental meanderings

I feel like I must be missing something here. According to Joshua 19:9-10&15, it looks to me like Bethlehem belonged to Simeon’s offspring rather than Judah as I would have thought. How did Bethlehem become the city of David if it was given to Simeon and would have had to have been returned ever...

Re: Miscellaneous mental meanderings

The mental is meandering in too drunken a fashion tonight to perceive the procedure for deleting messages from the inbox in order to free up space for new messages currently standing neatly at attention awaiting space.

Sorry.

Re: Today ...

Today my heart is hurting. An older brother in my church went missing this morning. Divers found him in his car underwater. He didn’t survive. Haven’t heard funeral schedule yet, but it’s been a tough day.

What’s for supper?

If mennonet already has such a thread I missed it. Earlier this week I felt like it was such a crockpot kind of a day. I had chicken, carrots and celery that needed to be cooked up so I threw it together with water, salt, pepper, garlic, and onion. Lunch the last two days has been a bowl with a heal...

Re: Miscellaneous mental meanderings

Thank you both. :) It is a joy to return. Hopefully heading towards a healthy work/recreation balance. ;) Time will tell how it pans out. November - January are always quite busy, but at my main part-time job we just unexpectedly lost our manager so the owner is trying to figure things out. Not look...

Re: Miscellaneous mental meanderings

Re: Prayer Requests & Personal Testimonies

Thank you. We made it safely home about an hour ago. We stopped numerous times for ice and coffee and switching drivers etc which made it about 16.5 hrs, but God was faithful and we are safely home. My day started before 4:30 yesterday morning and we hit the road for home about 6:30 last night. I co...
