Re: Poll: Daniel Perry - Should he have been pardoned?

I stumbled onto the live feed last week when they were a few minutes away from blowing that bridge. That was quite the coordination of efforts to make that happen. The Army Corp. of Engineers is coordinating this, with the Coast Guard dealing with the Maritime aspects of it. They work well together...

The Dali is on the move! There are four tugs moving her, interesting because the company that the tugs that I can see (Moran, note the big M on the boats) has 3 in Baltimore. Must have called for help. I am amazed they cleared the channel so quickly. As to building a replacement, the squabbling has ...

The U.S. has never had an “official” language .. The US has no official language at the Federal level, but a majority of states have made English their official language at the state level. And only 3 states recognize any other official languages other than English. Hawaii recognizes native Hawaiia...

Unless they are crimes in a liberal city that is sensitive to their crime stats. Then they simply move the goal posts, redefine crime, don't cooperate, and don't report crimes. Since this happens, all criminal statistics that you put on here are of quite dubious value, and need to be taken with a f...

Re: Is it wrong to use nuclear bombs against civilians?
Waging wars of aggression is the ultimate wrong here. And also the ultimate war crime. As the Nuremburg Trials concluded: War is essentially an evil thing. Its consequences are not confined to the belligerent states alone, but affect the whole world. To initiate a war of aggression, therefore, is n...
