Pig Latin. haven't heard that in a while. Recently I was made aware of Ubbi Dubbi, which as I understand, is along the same lines as pig Latin. As far as ASL, I would hit up YouTube. I'm sure there are tons of resources there. Years ago, when I was (trying) to learn morse code, I had a set of CD's t...

Some time ago, I traced my dad's side back to the late 1500's while still in the Palestine region of Germany. At some point we were of the Lutheran faith once here in the Lebanon/Lancaster County. In fact, I am told my family donated the land for large Lutheran church in northern Lancaster County, a...

Re: Modern day Anabaptist perception towards postcards, handwritten letters, snail mail, etc?

I still write an occasional letter by hand, mostly to my mom, but my handwriting is horrific.... It is near impossible for me to print. If I need to fill a form out, I can start off printing but quickly revert to cursive. To that end, I can look back on my notebook at work and determine how much co...

Mike and I are fourth cousins once removed, fifth cousins once removed, fifth cousins twice removed, and sixth cousins once removed, depending on which branch you look at. Poor mike. He's gonna need therapy knowing that 8-) On a serious note, my wife was 7th cousins to her own maternal grandfather.
